Gareth Dickinson, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP

I graduated in 1998 with a degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University. I originally decided to study physiotherapy after experiencing the frustration of sustaining several injuries myself, whilst training and competing in cross country and athletic events.

I have a wide experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy including: foot and ankle conditions, knees, hips, sports injuries, post operative orthopaedics, spinal rehabilitation and gym based rehabilitation.

I currently head up the gym physiotherapy team at Frimley Park Hospital treating a wide variety of patients who all have different needs and goals, be it wanting to be able to return to gardening or being able to compete in competitive sports. This has also meant building close working relationships with the orthopaedic consultants.

I have worked privately at Queens Physiotherapy for the past 8 years.

I believe a thorough assessment, explanation and discussion are essential in deciding the most appropriate treatment and achieving the desired outcome - a speedy return to full function
