Rebecca Walton, BSc (Hons) MCSP HPC-REGISTERED SOM ACPOMIT AACP ESP

Rebecca Walton

I graduated in 1996 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from University College London. My professional interests are musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, and rehabilitation back to sport.

I began my physiotherapy career at St George’s Hospital in London, a large teaching hospital, and experienced all aspects of outpatient physiotherapy. Since then, I have worked at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey and in private practice. I have gained considerable experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, in both the NHS and private sectors.

I currently work part-time as an Orthopaedic Practitioner in clinics at Frimley Park Hospital, working closely alongside the Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeons.

I set up Queens Physiotherapy and Sport's Injury Clinic with Claire Bailey in 2002.

I am a member of the Health Professions Council (HPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). I am also a member of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (SOM), Association of Physiotherapists in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy (ACPOMIT), Extended Scope Physiotherapy group (ESP) and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

I gained an MSc module in Steroid Injection Therapy in 2007.

My treatment philosophy is accurate assessment and treatment, to enable a speedy return to optimum fitness and function.
